Introducing Martina McGrath

It’s complicated, literally! This project has led me to rethink some of my earlier preconceived beliefs about what the risks and benefits are relating to the disclosure of a concealable identity at work.

Martina joins us as a PhD Candidate at the University of Melbourne. Martina’s research seeks to better understand disclosure of a lived experience of mental health or suicide behaviour concerns in workplaces. Martina will discuss her research questions, aims, progress to date and planned activities. Martina will also discuss challenges and opportunities relating to pitching, designing and developing a research project proposal that remains connected to lived experience values while navigating the path as a lived experience researcher.
