Introducing Luke Bayliss
A study of mine captured acute changes in suicide capability using real-time assessments with individuals currently experiencing suicidality.
Luke joins us as a PhD Candidate at the University of Southern Queensland. Luke’s research theoretically advances understanding of suicide capability which is suggested to facilitate the movement from ideation-to-action. His presentation will explain why and how he has conducted research with the often-overlooked group of suicide attempt survivors. Luke will also outline what he did when participants reported they were unable to keep themself safe when experiencing imminent thoughts of attempting suicide and/or reported self-harm during a research study.
